- July 2006: Genève / La Perle du Lac - Genève / Pont de Carouge (4,5 km) and Genève / Pont de Carouge - Neydens (10 km). From Neydens to railway station St. Julien-en-Genevois (5 km). Extremely hot. Not enough water. No idea where we crossed the border Switzerland - France.

- July 2006: Pont de La Loi - Yenne (22 km). Rhône river, medieval town of Chanaz, view on Lac du Lit au Roi, la Chapelle Saint-Romain
- July 2006: Yenne - Saint-Maurice-de-Rhoterens (14,5 km). Long climb to le Mont Tournier. Very hot again.
- July 2006: Saint-Maurice-de-Rhoterens - La Bruyère (16 km). In Vuillerot view on La Plaine du Guiers. Chapelle de Pigneux.
- July 2006: La Bruyère - Le Pin (18 km). 38 degrees Celsius. City of Les Abrets. Near le Lac de Paladru.
